Today my pastor asked are we complaining about the music or something else, are we coming to church to worship or be worshipped. I love that my new pastor looks to glorifiy God and grow us to be more like Jesus. Not a people pleaser.
I know someone needs to hear that, because many years ago I remember thinking I could stay home and watch online.
After all, was having a good week, I didn’t those enocouragers at the church this week. I was immediatly overwhelmed by a sense of conviction. I praise God for convicton.
Going forward , I went to church to encourage others, not look to be served, but to serve others. I have been given a gift, as I focus on God and others, I am much more fullfilled. Much more peaceful, and full of joy.
Jesus is a hard act to follow, but when we try, Blessings abound.
