An elder from my church today on our prayer app , gave a sister some sound Godly advice.
“Love without expectations ”
How much easier it would be , to not be disappointed. How great our grace, mercy, compassion, gentleness, could be to accept what ever is and pray with faith for change according to the perfect will of God. In his perfect timing.
He makes all things beautiful in his time.
Thank you Lord for wise Christian leaders in our churches. I pray Lord you will keep our hearts soft and our minds palpable to your word. Help us to seek out our elders and their wisdom and apply it to our life and relationships. Lord help us to love others as you have loved us. In Jesus name amen.
